Product description

The ADSBee m1090 from Pants for Birds is a compact SMT solder-down module for integrating 1090 MHz Mode S/ADS-B reception into custom hardware and OEM designs. It provides the core 1090 MHz receive functionality of the ADSBee 1090U in a small form factor intended for direct PCB integration.

In its base configuration the m1090 is a single-band 1090 MHz receiver. Optional external devices can be connected through the exposed SPI bus: a TI CC1312 can add 978 MHz UAT or other sub-GHz reception, while an ESP32-S3 can provide Wi-Fi. Ethernet can be added with an external W5500 connected to the ESP32-S3.
